What the hell in dbz vegeta had a daughter and gohan had a little girl where did they go did they turn back the story

So basically dragon ball super is 6 months after they had made everyone forget about majin buu. So like the story of dragon ball super starts near the time they had defeated buu. The reason dbz showed everhone grown up and vegeta having a daughter is because the end of dragon ball z was 10 years later after they defeated majin buu. Dragon ball super decided to not continue that large time skip and instead they started 6 months after defeating buu
